Barbecue Beef Cups

Ingredients

1 pound extra lean ground beef
1 tablespoon onion — minced
1 can biscuits, canned
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

 

Instructions

Brown hamburger; add sauce, onion and brown sugar. Simmer. In greased muffin tin, put 1 biscuit in each cup and shape into a cup. Spoon hamburger mixture into cups. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over.

Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

BEEF AND TOFU

BEEF AND TOFU
Serves: 4
 
Ingredients
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 cup Shredded Chinese cabbage
  • 2 tablespoon Water
  • ½ lb Tofu, cut into ½" cubes
  • 1 teaspoon Brown Sugar
  • 3 cup Hot cooked Rice
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • ½ lb Lean ground Beef
  • 2 Green onions with tops, sliced
Instructions
  1. Bring broth to a boil in a medium Sauce pan.
  2. Combine cornstarch and water in a small bowl. Set aside.
  3. Heat oil in wok over high heat. Add Beef. Stir fry until no longer pink, breaking larger pieces with a wooden spoon.
  4. Add Garlic and Chinese cabbage.
  5. Stir fry about 1 minute.
  6. Reduce heat and add broth mixture; stir until thickened.
  7. Add tofu; gently stir until heated, about 1 minute.
  8. Spoon tofu mixture over Rice and garnish with green onions.

BEEF AND CABBAGE JOES
 
Ingredients
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • ½ cup Onion; Chopped, 1 Md.
  • ½ cup Celery; Thinly Sliced
  • 2 cup Cabbage; Shredded
  • ⅓ cup Green Pepper; Chopped
  • ¾ cup Catsup
  • ¼ cup Water
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Yellow Mustard
  • 8 ea Hamburger Buns; (best when toasted)
Instructions
  1. Cook and stir the Meat, onion and celery in a large skillet until the Meat is brown.
  2. Drain off the excess fat.
  3. Stir in the cabbage, green pepper, catsup, water, salt, and mustard and heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
  4. Reduce the heat and cover. Simmer until the Vegetables are tender, about 25 minutes.
  5. Spoon the mixture onto the bottom halves of the buns and top with the remaining halves.

Ingredients
  • 2 Lb Round Steak -- 1 inch thick
  • Flour
  • 1 Large Onion
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper
  • 4 Stalks Celery
  • 3 Large Carrots
  • 1 28 Oz. Can Tomatoes
  • ⅓ Cup Catsup
  • 1 8 Oz. Can Tomato Sauce
  • 2 teaspoon Horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • Salt And Pepper -- to taste
Instructions
  1. Roll meat in flour and brown in fat in skillet.
  2. Place in a large, deep baking dish.
  3. Cut onion, pepper, celery, and carrots in large pieces and add to the meat.
  4. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over the meat.
  5. Bake, covered, for 2 to 2½ hours, at 325°, until tender.

Italian Beef and Potato Casserole

Ingredients

1 lb Ground beef
5 1/2 oz Scaloped potato box
16 oz Tomatoes; canned
10 1/2 oz Pizza sauce
1/2 cup Water
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Oregano
1/4 teaspoon Basil
1 cup Mozzarella cheese; shredded
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese; grated

 

Instructions

In a skillet brown the meat till crumbly. Drain off fat. In the
crockpot, combine the meat with the dry sauce mix from the package of
scalloped potatoes, tomatoes, pizza sauce, water, and spices. Stir in
dry potato slices. Cover and cook on LOW 4 to 5 hours. Turn the
control to HIGH and stir in the Mozzarella cheese. Top with Parmesan
cheese. Cover and cook on HIGH for 15 minutes. Nancy, just brown your
meat the night before and place every thing you can in the crockpot.
Then put the pot in the frige so it’s ready to go in the morning.
