BEEF NOODLE BAKE

BEEF NOODLE BAKE
Serves: 4-6
 
Ingredients
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 4 cup (8 oz.) noodles, cooked, drained
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato Sauce
  • ⅓ cup Chopped onions
  • ½ lb Velveeta Pasteurized Process Cheese Spread,cubed
  • 2 tablespoon Chopped green bell pepper
Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, brown Meat; drain.
  2. Add tomato Sauce, onions and green bell peppers; mix well.
  3. Cover; simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Layer noodles, Cheese, and Meat mixture in a 1½ quart Casserole; cover.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
  6. Top with additional Cheese, sliced, if desired.

Sour Cream Noodle Bake

Ingredients

1 pk Medium noodles, 8 ounces
1 T Butter
1/8 t Black pepper
1 c Tomato sauce or puree
1 c Sour cream
1 c Sharp Cheddar cheese
1 lb Lean ground beef
1 ts Salt
1/4 ts Garlic salt
1 c Creamed cottage cheese
1 c Chopped green onions

 

Instructions

Cook noodles in boiling salted water. Rinse in cold water and drain.

Brown meat in butter, then add salt, pepper, garlic salt, and tomato
sauce. Simmer for five minutes.

Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, chopped onions and noodles.

Alternate layers of noodle mixture and meat mixture in a 2-quart
casserole, beginning with noodles and ending with meat. Top with
shredded cheese. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes, or until
cheese is melted and browned.
